Donet Chris Main, MD - Delivering Knowledgeable Care to MO Patients

Donet Chris Main, DO, is a Macon, MO, physician who owns and operates Midwest Bone and Joint Center, through which he provides reconstructive surgery options for a range of musculoskeletal injuries. Emphasizing a conservative approach to treatment, Chris Main, DO, delivers a full range of nonsurgical approaches to MO patients. Over the past two decades, he has performed approximately 10,000 injections of regenerative stem cells, as well as 25,000 surgeries.

A graduate of the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Missouri, he completed residency work that included training in pediatric orthopedic surgery at Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital. Active with the American Osteopathic Association, he has authored numerous papers in his field, including "Fibrocartilaginous Metaplasia and Neovascularization of the Anterior Cruciate Ligament in Patients with Osteoarthritis," which appeared in Clinical Anatomy in 2020.

Beyond his primary practice, Dr. Main leads Macon, Missouri, operations such as the Midwest Weight Loss Center, where he delivers individualized nutritional and exercise plans, as well as pharmacological support. Passionate about flying, Dr. Donet Chris Main also owns BoneDoc Aviation, which offers a range of lease options for aircraft that include Citation II and Falcon 50EX jets.
